Guide to Attractions

There are a wide variety of attractions and things to do within easy reach of Palm Mar. There are a number of links below to enable you to explore these.

All of the attractions of Playa de Las Americas and Los Christianos are just a few minutes drive away.

Even closer by is Las Galletas that retains much of the character and charm of a small fishing port and has a delightful promenade offering a good choice of restaurants where you can enjoy sea views, sunsets and watch the surfers.

Los Abrigos is a quaint fishing port a little further along the coast that boasts some quality fish restaurants.
See the gallery for more pictures.

More active pursuits include Walking, Hill Climbing, Fishing & Snorkelling.  There are 5 championship golf courses on the island: Golf del sur , Amarilla , Las Americas , Costa Adeje and a beautiful 9 hole par 3 course 'Los Palos' 2 minutes from Palm Mar.

The island boasts a diverse and stunning volcanic landscape and has the famous Mount Teide, reputedly the highest mountain in Europe, as well as banana plantations, vineyards and quaint towns that it is difficult to resist visiting.

Throughout the year their are festivals and markets that should not be missed.

A must see is Loro Parque in Puerto de la Cruz.   There are lots of trips on offer through the many agencies or you can hire a car and go direct .

There is a direct ferry to La Gomera from the harbour in Los Christianos and you can go on trips to see the whales and the dolphins or go fishing.

The pace of the resort is laid back and it is a great place to relax and re-charge the batteries.
